Multifamily Program — Tenants

Tenants, this one's for you. Provide a few details below to determine if your complex qualifies for our Multifamily Program. If so, we'll work with your property manager to identify opportunities to install upgrades that will help reduce energy use, increase comfort, and lower your energy bills.

Participation is contingent on meeting program qualification. Qualifications include:

• Property must be owned and operated by a 501 (c)3, or have at least 25 percent of units occupied by tenants using housing assistance vouchers as a form of payment or receive some type of federal, state, or local income-qualifying assistance.
• Have at least 25% of units occupied by tenants using housing assistance vouchers as a form of payment or receive some type of federal, state, or local income-qualifying assistance.
• Have individually metered units.
• Property must be 10 years of age or older.

How it Works 

• Registered Trade Allies work with your property management to assess the complex for available energy efficiency opportunities. 
• Your property management schedules installation of upgrades with registered Trade Allies. 
• Once the upgrades have been installed, you will be provided information on the improvements made.
